A YAHOO ACCOUNT is now required for membership because DSA uses a Yahoo Group to email all the DSA members the new password to the Member's Only section each time a newsletter is ready to be viewed. The password changes each month, so you'll need to become a member of the private "Newsletter" Yahoo Group. This is separate from the main DSA talk list that generates a lot of emails. The Newsletter group will ONLY send one email per month to your email account with the new password and a link to the "Members Only" page. Only DSA staff will be able to post messages to the Newsletter Yahoo Group.

If you don't have an email address, the steps in the tutorial above will help you create one for free that you can access and check from any computer.
Only DSA members will be approved by the Yahoo Group moderators to join the private group. So be sure to follow the directions that say to include your name and mailing address in the "comments to the moderator" box so your DSA membership can be verified.
